Deep purple in colour with rich, slow-moving legs – already at first glance it promises a full, warm character. Ripe sour cherry, black cherry, and plum jam dominate the nose, underpinned by a spicy backdrop. Hints of cinnamon, clove, and a touch of tobacco emerge in the secondary aromas – the spiciness of the Cabernet Franc and the fruitiness of the Kékfrankos complement each other beautifully. On the palate, the off-dry texture delivers a surprisingly smooth mouthfeel despite the higher alcohol. The fruit-driven profile continues with notes of cherry, sweet blackberry, a hint of dried plum, and a whisper of dark chocolate on the finish. The acidity is rounded, and the finish is long, velvety, and slightly sweet – a wine with true Mediterranean soul and Balaton personality.
