Nativus - meaning native, indigenous.
Furmint is the flagship of Hungary’s indigenous grape varieties: it is perhaps the only Hungarian variety recognized by wine connoisseurs worldwide. In the wine, delicate notes of beeswax and the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness create a harmonious unity, while the mature acidity gives it freshness and complexity. In 2024, it was awarded the title of the best organic wine in Hungary. The grapes come from strictly controlled organic farming. The crop was harvested on Les Hill. This vineyard is located in one of the driest regions of Balaton, which is also referred to as the Sahara of Balaton. This wine has been tested for histamine and has a low histamine content, so even people sensitive to histamine can drink it much more confidently.
