Barátcsuha is a nearly extinct Carpathian grape variety, rediscovered by viticulturist Imre Nagy. Today, it exists on only 0.2 hectares globally. Our 2024 vintage yielded just 924 bottles. The nose is subtle and neutral with notes of pear, green apple, and a light mineral edge. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with dominant flavors of pear, green apple, and saline minerality. Hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, spontaneously fermented in steel, then clarified and filtered. A clean, distinctive white wine – laboratory-tested and certified low in histamine.
